Connections and your data

You can use Homebody without connecting Google. Connecting Gmail lets your assistant find and summarize mail. With additional permissions, it can prepare drafts, send messages, and organize your inbox. Other Google connectors let you work with the services you choose.

Choose access

Open Settings, then Connectors, and choose a service. Review the app's explanation and Google's permission screen before approving access. In the connector's settings, you can change which actions are allowed, require approval, or are denied. Additional access may require another Google authorization.

An allowed action can run without another prompt. Check these settings before asking your assistant to send mail or make changes.

Choose a model

Gmail works with Muse Contributor, the default model. Review the training disclosure and select Connect to stay on Contributor. Meta may train on your chats and Google content, including saved history and background work. To use standard Muse without training, or another available model, open Settings, then General, then Chat model. An existing model choice stays selected when you connect.

Disconnect Google

  1. Open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose the connected service and select Disconnect.
  3. To revoke authorization directly with Google, visit your Google Account connections, choose Homebody, and remove its access.

Disconnecting stops new access. It does not remove content already saved in chats, bot memory, or files, or undo email and other changes already made.

Delete your account and saved data

Open Settings, then General, then Delete account, and follow the confirmation. This deletes your account and the app's saved account content. If deletion reports an error, retry or contact us. Provider logs and backups may remain, and recipients keep copies you sent or shared. The privacy policy explains these limits.

Reset clears your working data but keeps your account and connectors. Use Delete account when you want to close the account.

If you cannot sign in, or want help with a specific item, email hello@meethomebody.com from your account email address. Tell us what you want deleted. Do not send your password or access tokens.
